Welcome, Alicia!

Please help us welcome our new Office Coordinator, Alicia Blasingame!

Alicia joins DACHS with over 20 years of experience in administration and finance. She holds an MBA and her professional background is in construction accounting and tax preparation.

Alicia moved to the beautiful city of Las Cruces in 2017 when her husband, Stacey Blasingame, pursued a career opportunity. Alicia has been actively involved in volunteering her time for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and serves as both the President of the Board of Directors for the local affiliate of Southern New Mexico and the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the state affiliate. She also leads support groups, teaches classes, advocates for, and supports those living with a mental illness, as well as offering support for their families and loved ones. She is also a member of the Junior League of Las Cruces.

In her free time, Alicia enjoys spending time with her husband of 26 years, Stacey, and visiting their two grown children, Emily and Spencer. She also has two dogs, Charlie and Java, who are now learning how to live in a world where their Mom is away at the office during the day!

When asked about why she joined the DACHS team, Alicia said “I am excited to work for the Doña Ana County Humane Society because it combines my love of animals with that of non-profit administration. I enjoy working with pets and their people and look forward to making a difference any way I can!”

Welcome, Alicia! The Doña Ana County Humane Society is grateful to have your help in working to Keep People and Pets Together.
